A simple life, A normal life. The Good Life!

I like to think of myself as a normal, flat on the earth kind of girl. I always try to smile, because I believe that smiling keeps you young and happy. I also love helping people, cant explain exactly why, but it is just one of those things that gives me lots of joy!

I have a cat, whom I love very much, her name use to be Miyoko. Which means "beautiful child" in Japanese, but since no-one can pronouce that we just changed it to "liefe" (its afrikaans for lovely, though it doesn't sound right when you say it in english...). Anyway, she is my little child in the house, everyone says I spoil her too much, lol, but how can I not, she is so cute!! She just love when there is something to climb into...

I'm also a bit of a japanese freak. I would absolutely love to go to Japan one day. Their culture, language and differences are so interesting, a hole new and different world from my own. But before I can even think of going there I promised myself that I will speak japanese first, so I am currently learning to speak japanese. It is taking me longer than I hoped but, I will get there :3

I also watch a lot of Japanese anime and when I'm not watching I'll read the manga. That is also the reason for my manga pictures. It is just so much joy to draw and colour.
When I really want to be creative I will build their anime figures, well try. It is much harder than it looks.

Creating something is my passion, it is something that I just can not live without. Maybe even for that reason I am a web designer. For me the Internet is like an art gallery and the websites that I create is my art. But not only on the internet, I love to create pencil and paint drawings.

Besides all this, I am a teacher at a local college. I teach Computer Studies, Corel Draw and Graphic Design History.
I love sharing, and what better way to share than sharing your knowledge? Being with the students each day can be tiring, but I love every minute of it! It is not only educational for them, but for me as well. Getting to know different kinds of people, is the best way to learn more about the world out there. I just hope my students enjoy the classes as much as I do.
